"People need to know that it
is not normal for their feet to hurt, no matter how much they walk
or stand. Pain is the body's way of telling us something is wrong.
Some conditions are easily treated when they first occur. It is very
important to seek the help of a doctor rather than live with foot
and ankle pain."
His residency has enabled
Dr. Duncan to experience a wide range of foot and ankle care, including
foot and ankle surgery and infectious disease. He has learned about new
treatments for heel pain and is skilled in arthroscopy foot and ankle surgery.
As part of his training, he also conducted research into rheumatoid arthritis, bone grafts, Achilles tendon repair and orthotics. Dr. Duncan
has a special interest in diabetic foot care and limb salvage.
