What is the First Step to get started?
The surgery is
performed at an out-patient surgery center on either a Tuesday or a Friday
during the week.
If you choose to
have it on a Tuesday; you could arrive Monday for the initial exam and
consultation and surgery would be performed on that Tuesday. You would be
next seen on that Friday for your post-op visit and could leave for home
after that.
If you wanted the
Friday surgery time; you would arrive on Thursday for the initial exam and
consultation and surgery would be performed on that Friday. You would
be next seen on the Tuesday for your post-op visit and could return home
after that.
Step 2: Call your
insurance company to make sure that the surgery is approved.
Step 3: After your
surgery is scheduled, you will need to obtain the following from your
doctor:
